Dr. Lauren Soderberg is a Minnesota native, currently residing in Spring Lake Township. She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and took a position at the former Savage Tower Animal Hospital. After several years of being a partial owner, Dr. Soderberg opened TotalPet Wellness in 2020. Dr. Soderberg’s interests in veterinary medicine include designing custom care plans for individual pets, performing routine dentistry care, and working with exotic animals.
She lives on a small hobby farm with her family and a menagerie of animals (dogs, cats, horses and goats). Her hobbies include competing in dog agility, riding horses, spending time outdoors with her family, cooking and of course, eating! She can often be found at a weekend agility trial or out on the trail with her horse, working in the vegetable garden, or trying to keep the goats out of trouble (really a full-time job). Alicia, CVT
Our very own Certified Veterinary Technician, Alicia completed a degree in Veterinary Technology and then passed her certification test in 2013. She has worked at the U of M and here at the former Savage Tower Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, Alicia can perform dental cleanings and dental exams, monitor patients under anesthesia, perform a huge number of lab tests and so much more. In her free time Alicia enjoys seeing friends, doing crafts like soap making and sewing, and traveling. She has two cats (Wednesday and June) and is our clinic cat lover! Gabby, Veterinary Assistant
Gabby is our veterinary assistant and office Bulldog enthusiast. She grew up in the US and Brazil and moved to Minnesota to complete her Bachelors of Science at the U of M. Gabby found her niche as a veterinary assistant and is a critical part of our team. She literally does it all, from performing lab work to helping monitor patients under anesthesia! In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Although she currently doesn’t have any pets at home, she plans to get a French Bulldog when the time is right. Melanie, Veterinary Receptionist
Melanie really is the heart and soul of our veterinary practice. She is the first person you talk to when you call on the phone and the first person you meet when you walk in the door. Melanie truly has a soft spot for animals in need and will pull over to help turtles and geese cross the road anyday, even if she has all the kids in the car and they are running late for hockey practice! |
